Spread the love

November 8th – Don’t Let Anything Stop You!

We’re getting close to our next meetup!  Clear your calendar because you won’t want to miss it.  “But Stanley, my mom is making brownies that afternoon.  They’re my favorite!”  Well, you know what?  KARATE CHOP your mom’s brownies because they can wait!  You know who can’t wait?

Lynda Stein, that’s who.

Lynda Stein is preparing to kick your heinies with her talk, “The Beginning, Middle and End of Getting Non-Film Actors to Act”.   Lynda is an actress, model, director, writer, and professional instructor.  If you think you can afford to skip this one – you’re wrong, Karate-chop-to-the-face wrong!

“But Stanley, I have a job and I have to work Sunday afternoon.”  Well…. KARATE CHOP your jo… Actually you should work. You need the money.

After Lynda’s talk, we’re going to have a short film showcase of- your films!  To get your film shown just submit it to omar@orlandofilmmaker.com.  The deadline is tonight at 11:59PM!! If you send in a short please make sure that you attend.  Seeing your film before an audience is very important for every filmmaker.  Feel free to submit anything that you’ve made that is under 10 minutes.  Commercials, documentaries, narratives, PSAs, etc. can all be submitted.  Don’t hold back!

I hope to see you guys there:

P.S. Please don’t karate chop your mom or her brownies.  She’s probably a pretty nice lady.
